Produces one massive fleshy leaf up to 25 cms diameter which dries up as summer approaches and the plant is leafless over summer, just the tuberous root waiting for autumn. Gorgeous large pink flowers on relatively spindly stem and branches, at least compared to some other Uncarina types. We don't yet know how tall, but possible our tallest Unc. Outdoor capability unknown so far, but it does not seem difficult to grow. Hopefully one day we will know what species this is, to aid friendly experts our pics include the seed capsule as this is usually somewhat diagnostic. Is it U.decaryi with unusual flower colour? Please let us know, thanks!
