Notocactus nigrispinus

Variable species, ours have large bodies with about 27 ribs adorned with fine black spines and an apex covered in copious white wool spilling out like snow. Reputedly offsetting and columnar in time. Bright light for good shape & wool.

A large-bodied species not often grown yet.
