Gasteria nitida armstrongii

Regional distichous form of Gasteria nitida. Leathery straplike leaves lie flat to the ground. Very slowly offsets to form a cluster. Pink stomach-shaped flowers.

This was originally Madge Shield's plant, now at least 50 years old. (Madge was a noted early NZ collector. She was also a Vice President of the pioneering African Succulent Plant Society based in England.)
