Gasteria acinacifolia

A giant amongst Gasterias, lvs to 1m long. The inflorescence of bent 50mm pink flowers is branched like a tree and to 2m tall. Best in partial shade but will take some sun. Easy outdoors in well drained spot.

3.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK in warm, well-drained position in mild areas.

Young plant in 12.5 cm pot.
Cross-section of mature leaf, which can reach 1 metre in time.
Happy in an Auckland garden.
Longer and less gasteriform than most Gasteria flowers.
