Cereus 'Tiraumea'

This is the tallest cereoid we have seen in NZ, its natural habit is to stretch upwards as fast as possible on its strong (probably woody within) seldom branching stem. Easy to grow in the garden.

2.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK, easy to grow.

The original plant, now destroyed.
Streaking for the sky in our nursery.
Nocturnal flowers.
A small squadron of bees that were roaming in the gloaming.
Closeup before the light failed.
This Cereus has relatively unbranched straight stems that reach a great height.
