Aloinopsis schoonesii

South African miniature. Dense mound of dark green leaves to 15cm across in time. Flowers in summer, yellowish with a thin red stripe down each petal. Indoors only, in bright light, water sparingly. Watch for spider mite and thrips

Leaves resemble pebbles of granite.
It was years before we realised there were two flower colours!
Pink with a red midstripe.
Yellow with a red midstripe.
Flowers come in mid-winter.
