Aloe 'Flaming Spires'

Our fastest-growing tree aloe, to 5 m ht. Showy red-opening-to-yellow racemes of tui-attracting flowers in early winter. Trim offsets regularly to keep trunk naked for best appearance.

2.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK, easy to grow.

All plants are cloned off this original one at Sandy Bay.....
.....which soon grew very tall.
And now a big display of flowers appears over the fence in Auckland every winter.
A solitary one (2.2m+) in a pot.
The tall rosettes are F.S.'s, the plant at its foot is an old A.succotrina.
