Aloe 'Coromandel Gold'

Large new tree Aloe to 1m diameter, distinguished by numerous racemes of amazing bright yellow flowers. OK outdoors in mild areas.

Dense broad yellow racemes are unusual in Aloes.
In outdoor light the flowers acquire an orange hue not seen under plastic.
Unusual in that frequently the raceme commences opening in the centre or down one side.(Most Aloes open from bottom upwards).
An enormous number of racemes can be produced.
The rosette is rather like a not-very-spiny-leaf form of Aloe ferox.
A smaller plant flowering for the first time. Greenhouse grown, so pure yellow in colour.
