Aloe comosa

Type locality examples from Clanwilliam. A single-trunked small tree Aloe with pink suffused leaves forming graceful rosettes. Very tall inflorescences with long pink racemes of flowers. Not very hardy outdoors.

3.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK in warm, well-drained position in mild areas.

Graceful rosette, with pinkish hues.
Emerging buds have a snakelike sexiness.
Flowers open to whitish and striped.
Stressed colours but surviving at Sandy Bay (foreground x2).
Very tall inflorescence which hits the roof in summer.
