Aloe bowiea

Rare miniature Aloe with grass-like (but toothed) leaves to15cm from a swollen base. Eventually forms clusters of rosettes. Flowers whitish and small. Outdoor capability unknown.

4.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK only if protected from winter rain.

Very cute Aloe for a small pot.
Looks like grass but no good for lawns.
Fine leaves widen near base to form bulblike centre for water storage.
Flowers.
A large old plant broken apart into clusters.
