Most massive Euphorbia from southern Africa, to 10m+. Fast-growing in ground or large pot. Fairly frost tolerant once taller. Yellow flowers and capsules. Juveniles have mottled stems.

Dense crown of ascending branches.
Flowers in winter.
These fruits will not dry and explode like other Euphorbia seedcapsules.
