We sell succulents and cactus by mailorder, auctions, wholesale to garden centres and landscapers, and nursery sales open to public. We also export plants when border regulations allow it and oppressive bureaucracy doesn't destroy the economics of it.
History
Coromandel Cacti was started in December 1982 by Martin Walker at Sandy Bay, Port Charles near the top of the Coromandel Peninsula. After years of selling mostly at fairs and shows, he moved in 1996 to the present site in Mt Wellington. After a major cleanup of the site eventually 4000 sq metres of greenhouses were filled, plus outdoor areas. This is being savagely reduced by the end of 2010 to allow Transpower to trench one of their power cables. This should benefit Northland's economy but could ruin ours, so spend up while you still have us. NZ has never had such a range of succulents available, please enjoy it while you can.

From the Southern Motorway take the Mt Wellington exit. Head towards Panmure, after 1 kilometre you go straight through an intersection with traffic lights at Waipuna Road (used to be known as the Big Fresh Corner).
We are 150 metres past the lights, on the right, underneath the big tall power pylons.
Go to the Red Door at the top of the drive and press the buzzer.
