Unusual rare Mexican species looking like an Echeveria (which it is not). Flowers in spring, white with sweet, spicy fragrance. Difficult to grow; best kept dry in winter to avoid mouldy rot. Avoid water sitting in the rosette.

Indoors OK, but not for beginners. Outdoors not OK.
