This is one of the 'grass-Aloes' of Zimbabwe. Along with several other species it occurs in the Chimanimani Mountains where it forms small clumps to about 20 cm high. Flowers red in spring. Great rock-garden subject.

Indoors OK, Outdoors OK in warm, well-drained position in mild areas.
